Founded in 1899, Erath is located between Abbeville and Delcambre. Visit the Acadian Museum and immerse yourself in the history of the dispersed Acadians from Nova Scotia that localized the area. Here you can find an interesting published history of Erath. Erath has the best Fourth of July celebration around. It was featured on Good Morning America as one of the most interesting events in America.
